I'm on a high.....

Literally!

 I just inhaled fumes from 6 (that's right - six!) cans of spray paint.  Not all at once of course, but even then I'm feeling pretty free at the moment! :)

You wouldn't think it used that much, but this lamp required a lot of extra coverage to turn out the way I wanted it to.  I was going for a very bright, shiny, high end look and I think I accomplished that!

You can't really tell from the before picture, but the lamp was pretty nasty - just banged up and dirty.  It took some scrubbing to get it ready to paint. 

I love the little finial at the top.  It wasn't a part of the original lamp, but I had it lying around here and thought it would look perfect with it. 

Doesn't it just make you happy?!
